Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

These are the most common questions when it comes to training in our group.

Do promotions stack?

Yes. To check the requirements for a specific promotions, check the #training-logs for the TOTAL AMOUNT of trainings passed by the attendee in question.

E.g.

  1. An attendee of rank “Conscript” passes your training.

  2. Check the #training-logs. The attendee in questions should already have passed ONE training.

  3. Therefore, by passing your training, the TOTAL AMOUNT of trainings passed by this attendee is TWO.

  4. Check the requirements for a promotion to “Militia”. (“Attend and pass TWO basic trainings”)

  5. Consequently, promote the attendee.

  • What is the correct grammar of the command “CENTER TURN”? Is “CENTRE TURN” an incorrect command?

The correct form of the “CENTER TURN” can either be spelled by the english way “CENTRE” or by the american way “CENTER”.

Therefore, both commands are correct.

  • How is the correct way of forming a Rank/Two Ranks?

A Rank/Two Ranks should ALWAYS be formed from the left to the right.

In specific cases of limiting the number of individuals per rank, another rank should be formed behind the front rank, with decent spacing between ranks.

If the command in question is “TWO RANKS”, a third rank should NOT be formed unless there is not enough space on the sides of both ranks.

Still addressing the command “TWO RANKS”, if the first and second ranks are full but there is still space to the sides of the first rank, the extra individual should go to the RIGHT of the first rank, leaving a gap behind him/her in the second rank.

  • A host just announced a basic training in the #military-events channel. When should I announce my training?

The minimum time interval between basic training announcements is TEN minutes.

E.g.

  1. A Sergeant just announced his training on the #military-events channel.

  2. The Sergeant proceeds to lock his training after a few minutes.

  3. Check at what time the announcement was made by the Sergeant.

  4. Consider the first announcement made by the Sergeant to wait for the minimum time interval to announce your training.

  5. After 10 minutes, proceed to announce your training.
